Commercial Lines Producer Santa Rosa
NorthWest
Insurance Agency is seeking a self-directed sales professional to join
our Santa Rosa team. The primary focus is on P&C commercial sales and
the ideal candidate will be motivated to prospect, solicit, quote, sell
new business, and retain existing clients through renewals. We are
willing to train an applicant who has good communication and
interpersonal skills and who is energetic and career-minded. We offer

Overview
Prospect,
solicit, quote, sell new business, and retain existing clients through
proper renewals. Primary focus is on P&C sales with cross selling
efforts into all NorthWest Insurance Agency lines of business.
Professionally counsel and market to existing clients. Meet specific
sales goals and service responsibilities, as determined in the
producers annual business plan. Maintain service and sales standards
promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and pre-qualify prospects
Prepare and conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing
customers on new and renewal business
Survey clients needs, exposures, coverage availability, and
cross-selling opportunities
Develop and follow a management approved annual business plan
Adhere to company operating systems and procedures for sharing and
communicating client and pertinent information among assigned team
members
Work effectively with others demonstrating flexibility and cooperation
to accomplish team and department goals
Participate in sales meetings, read and understand technical insurance
information from all sources
Maintain technical proficiency through continued educational
development
Obtain and maintain all licensing and continued education requirements
Maintain thorough knowledge in market, industry, and economic and
administrative trends.
Design insurance programs, recommend coverages, and change and/or
implement client programs
Manage client expectations to reasonable levels within standard
service, time frames and guidelines
Qualifications
Works well in a team environment.
Shows interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Must be proficient in various software applications including MS Word,
Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to be self-directed.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to delegate effectively.
Ability to lead and mentor
