Jim Levoe joined NorthWest Insurance Agency in 1985. As such he has almost 25 years of insurance experience. He originally joined the firm in our Fort Bragg branch as manager of the Allstate personal lines franchise. In 1986, Jim moved to the Ukiah office where he became involved in the commercial lines department. Over the next five years, Jim sold in excess of $3,200,000 of new commercial business for the agency. In 1989 he became a partner in the agency. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1991 and at that time became a Vice President. In 1994 he received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Jim maintains an active book of business out of our Santa Rosa branch office, which became his home base in 2000. He recently elected to step out of the management arena and dedicate himself to servicing his large and growing customer base.
Jim’s areas of expertise are workers compensation and property and casualty with an emphasis on the forest products, transportation industries and general engineering contractors. He is intimately familiar with the logging industry, having worked as a logger prior to starting his insurance career. Jim believes good customer service and honest communication is the foundation of a healthy business relationship.
Jim, a native of Chicago who attended school in the Bay Area, is married, the father of three children, and enjoys woodworking and building furniture.
