David Sailer’s first introduction to a business insurance agent came when his family owned a grocery store and the American Hardware Mutual agent visited his father. That agent became more than just a business partner, he became a friend, providing advice and sometimes a listening ear as David’s father navigated the challenges of owning a small business.
It was that example that set the tone for David as he entered the insurance business himself after college. His first position was marketing commercial insurance packages exclusively to franchised auto dealers with Universal Underwriters. After four years of extensive travel David decided to spend less time on the road and more time with his family and joined a local agency as a producer. Within two years he was asked to become a partner and manage the Grants Pass office.
David later decided he wanted to own his own agency and opened David L. Sailer Insurance Services focusing on business insurance including health and benefits. Throughout these changes one thing remained constant, David’s commitment to his customers. This commitment meant he needed all of the resources available to service his clients, which eventually led to his relationship with Northwest Insurance Agency. “They have the resources I need for my clients and the same attitude towards service that has meant long term relationships with those clients.” David’s relentless pursuit of excellent client care is driven by his personal motto, which is: Service is not a slogan with me, it is who I am.
David has been a long time Southern Oregon resident and he looks forward to playing a part in the success of your business.
